An Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel was injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast carried out by cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) in the interior Hikpola Forest area under Dhanora Police Station limits in Narayanpur District of Chhattisgarh on February 15, reports The Times of India. When Security Forces (SFs) were conducting an area domination operation, the ultras triggered the IED blast that left ITBP personnel Manoj Yadav injured. Though no other troop was injured, the Maoists escaped into the forest.
