On 20 February 2023, Russian forces launched an airstrike and shelled near Vuhledar, Donetsk, with artillery. Russia claims that the Ukrainian losses in this direction included two tanks, two armored fighting vehicles, a Grad MLRS vehicle, a D-20 howitzer, and an ammunition depot. Russia claims that up to 70 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in Zolota Nyva, Vuhledar and Prechystivka. (70 fatalities split across three events, 23 fatalities coded in this event)
