On 18 February 2023, in Thit Chan Seik village (Kyaukkyi township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), the Myanmar military LIB-351 fired artillery rounds into the village at around 9 pm. A house caught on fire after an artillery shell landed on it. Casualties unknown.
