On 19 February 2023, in the east of Khin Mun village of Monywa township (coded as Monywa) (Monywa district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Chaung-U PDF (PaKaPha) and the Monywa District PDF battalion 6 - squadron 1 carried out mine attacks against around 30 Myanmar military soldiers, who departed from the Monywa Government Technological College, with three mines at around 8:15 am. Two military soldiers were severely injured.
