On 22 February 2023, between Hman Yin and Kha Paung Kyaing villages (coded as Hman Yin) (Taze township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Taze People Comrades (Shwebo District PDF (B-25)) and the Taze PDF (PaKaPha) attacked the military (IB-361) and the Pyu Saw Htee heading to the village with 8 mines at around 8 am, killing 5 military soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee.
