On 23 February 2023, in Lein Maw Chan village (Ye township, Mawlamyine district, Mon state), the No.317 military artillery battalion fired three artillery rounds at around 1 pm, hitting and destroying the generator tent inside the village monastery and a clinic. There were no casualties.
