Unknown event in Pristina District, Besian‘ / Podujevo area, Kosovo on Sat 18th February 2023

An imam was prevented from performing his duties in a mosque by four people who attacked him because they disapproved of his appointment. Four additional individuals came to the imam's defence, and one of them hit one of the attackers with the revolver's butt, causing just minor injuries. The victim received medical treatment. The three people defending the imam were declared wanted, and in the home of one of them, the police found and seized a gun holster. The case is under investigation.
