Ortona, vehicle for cleaning the ridge hits a device that explodes and starts a fire An accident that could have had more serious consequences. This is what happened in Ortona during the cleaning work on the ridge in the Punta Ferruccio regional reserve. A vehicle hit a bomb probably dating back to the war causing it to explode. Fortunately there were no injuries, but the explosion started a huge fire which spread quickly due to the wind. Firefighters and carabinieri attended the scene. Also present were the mayor Leo Castiglione and the councilor for civil protection Massimo Petaccia.
