Emergency services turned up on Sunday afternoon to investigate an explosive device on Galgeweg in Herkingen. The Explosives Disposal Service (EOD) has since defused the explosive. According to a police spokesman, the explosive was found by a man walking his dog. ''He saw something suspicious hanging in a tree or bush and then immediately called the emergency services.'' It is possible that the explosive was assembled by himself. The explosive has since been defused at the scene by the EOD.
