A still unknown man left a hand grenade at a retail building on Hildebrandstraat in Den Bosch on the night of 8 to 9 July 2022. The tanning salon that sat there had been abandoned and boarded up for some time. Because of this threat, eight homes and shops were evacuated that Saturday morning. Remarkably, the hand grenade was hung with tape and remained intact, but the perpetrator did cause a major explosion. He detonated heavy, illegal fireworks shortly before 2:30 a.m. These actions and part of his flight are in the picture.
