On the 16th of December, the head of the Russian House, Dmitri Sytyi, was seriously injured in a parcel bomb explosion that he had just received via the DHL service. Earlier, the Russian official had already received threatening letters from abroad promising reprisals if Russia did not leave the country, the Community of Officers for International Security (COSI) said. In a serious condition, Sytyi was evacuated to Russia.
