On 11 February 2023, near Kyauk Pyoke village of Kale township (Kale district, Sagiang region), landmines planted by the Myanmar military troops and Pyu Saw Htee exploded while members of PDF - Kalay Battalion-4 were on their way to Kyauk Pyoke village. The explosions severely wounded four members of PDF-Kalay.
