On 12 February 2023, near Thet Kay Kwet village of Yebyu township (Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), joint forces of People's Defense Force - Yebyu and Mine Force PDF carried out mine attack against seventeen Myanmar military convoy vehicles on Ye-Dawei Road. Road was block by the military troops following the mine attack. The group released a statement and claimed that at least ten military soldiers died and ten others were injured.
