On 13 February 2023, between Taung Bon and Ahr Yu Taung villages (coded as Ahr Yu Taung) (Ye township, Mawlamyine district, Mon state), an unidentified armed group exploded a bomb and destroyed a concrete bridge connecting the two village at around 11 pm. Casualties unknown.
