Around 14 February 2023 (as reported), in El Consuelo (Arauca), ELN members attacked military officers, who were guarding the Cano Limon - Covenas oil pipeline, with an explosive device. The soldiers were not injured but a fire broke out on the pipeline. In previous days the ELN had threatened several oil companies in the sector, forcing some of them to stop their operations. There were no casualties.
