On 15 February 2023, in Ywar Ma (South) village (Seikphyu township, Pakokku district, Magway region), military forces fired heavy weapons at the village and the shells hit and severely injured a 40-year-old disabled woman. Another 50-year-old woman died from the heart attack when the shells exploded in the village.
