On 16 February 2023, between Kyaukse and Sintgaing townships (coded as Sintgaing) (Kyaukse district, Mandalay region), a combined force of Kyaukse District Defense Force (KDDF) and People's Defense Force - Myitnge carried out a mine attack on a convoy of 16 military fuel tankers near the Paw Taw Mu pagoda at about 11 am. Two fuel tankers were damaged. Casualties unknown.
