On 17 February 2023, near Paw Taw Mu village of Thabeikkyin township (coded as Thabeikkyin) (Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Takaung PDF carried out mine attacks against a Myanmar military convoy of three 6-wheel trucks carrying around 100 soldiers from the LID-88, who were returning from Mya Taung village of Tigyaing village, with five mines at around 5:20 am. 10 military soldiers were killed and six injured.
