IED event in Grad Beograd, Grocka area, Serbia on Fri 10th February 2023

A 20-year-old woman was shot and killed with a service pistol by her 28-year-old husband, a police officer, who then died by suicide using the same pistol. The police determined that the perpetrator did not have a reported history of domestic violence. The media report that the victim was planning to divorce the perpetrator, which may have been the motive for the incident. According to the victim's mother, the perpetrator had already threatened the victim with a pistol 20 days before the murder.
