The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on February 8 arrested a Daesh ÔcommanderÕ during a raid in Korangi Industrial area of Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh, reports ARY News. According to the CTD officials, the arrested ÔcommanderÕ was identified as Abdul Malik. A pistol along with rounds was seized from their possession, the CTD officials added. The initial investigation of CTD revealed that Abdul Malik is associated with DaeshÕs Mula Abdul Manan group since 2011. The arrestee is an Afghan national, who is residing in Karachi for a long time. CTD officials further said that the arrestee used to collect donations in Ramzanul Mubarak and was sending them to Daesh in Afghanistan.
