Security Forces (SFs) killed 12 Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists during an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in Lakki Marwat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in the night of February 7, reports Dawn. According to a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), SFs and the terrorists exchanged fire during which the militants were killed. ÒTerroristsÕ movement and activities were being watched by intelligence tentacles for the last one week. Terrorists were lured in by providing a vehicle for escape that was intercepted and neutralised,Ó the ISPR said. Weapons, ammunition, and Afghan currency were also recovered from the terrorists during the operation, it stated, adding that SFs were carrying out a clearance operation in the area.
