A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, identified as Sanjiv Kumar, who belongs to the CRPFÕs 60th battalion, was injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion in West Singhbhum District of Jharkhand on February 7, reports NDTV. Security Forces (SFs) were on an anti-Naxal [Left Wing Extremism, LWE] operation at Hathiburu jungle under Goilkera Police Station area when the IED planted by Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) exploded, injuring the CRPF personnel, State Police's Inspector General (IG), Operations, Amol V Homkar said.
