An unexploded ordnance has been found on a Sussex beach. Selsey Coastguard were made aware of the ordnance on Bracklesham beach, west of Bognor. They called the explosive ordnance disposal team who disposed of the ordnance safely. It was found on Saturday at around 3.30pm by a member of the public. Selsey Coastguard returned to base at 7pm that day. A spokesman said: "Ordnance comes in all different shapes and sizes and ordnance found on nearby beaches has been found to still be highly explosive. If you come across anything suspicious or unusual on the beach or along the coast dial and ask for the coastguard and please don't touch it."
