On 4 February 2023, near Shwe Taik Kone village (coded as Kawlin) (Kawlin township, Kawlin district, Sagaing region), the Kawlin PDF (PaKaPha) attacked 60 military soldiers from Kawlin town who were advancing to Chaung Son village to reinforce their ground troops with mines at around 1 pm. Casualties unknown.
