On 6 February 2023, in Kan Htu Ma San Pya village (coded as Kan Htu Ma) (Taze township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), a combined force of Myanmar Defense Force - Taze Tiger, Taze Silent Ranger (TSR), People's Liberation Army and Guerrilla Warfare - K.P.K carried out a mine attack on military soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee who were looting itmes from house to house at 5:15 pm. Five military soldiers were killed, and three others were injured.
