On 6 February 2023, in Kale town (Kale township, Kale district, Sagaing region), Kale Myo Myo Pya Pyauk Kyar Si Man Chet UG Aphwe: Kale Town Urban Guerrilla Scheme UG Group carried out a mine attack on military forces coming to camp between the irrigation office and the forest office in Taung Za Lat ward in the afternoon. Three military soldiers were killed, and two others were injured. Acoording to Eleven Media, the Myanmar Police Force reported that a handmade mine exploded in front of the irrigation department office on the Yar Za Gyo street in Taung Za Lat ward at 11:50 am and a passer-by was injured from the explosion. Fatilities coded as 3.
