On 28 January 2023, between Kyay Tha Kya and Kan Kone-Done Taw villages (coded as Done Taw) (Salingyi township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), a combined force of Regional Friend Fighters and Revolution Youth Group (RYG) attacked a convoy of military vehicles carrying injured soldiers with six mines on the Myauk Yamar bridge while traveling to the Chinese owned Wanbao company at about 12 pm for the second time. Three military vehicles were damaged. Casualties unknown.
