On 28 January 2023, in Kan Thit village (Myaing township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myaing PDF (PaKaPha) Battalion 1 and village defense forces attacked military forces stationed in the village with 18 energa bombs attached to drones at around 5 am, injuring three military soldiers. At around 8 am, the combined force attacked again the military forces with 11 mines when they left the village.
