On 28 January 2023, between Than Pu Yar and Shwe Lin villages (coded as Than Pu Yar) (Kyainseikgyi township, Kawkareik district, Kayin state), the Dar Li bridge connecting the Kyainseikgyi township and the Mudon town was attacked with three mines at around 2 am for the second time. The bridge was destroyed. VOA reported that the NUG PDF carried out the mine attack. Karen Information Center News reported that the military often used the bridge for transporting military reinforcements, food and weapons to the military's front-line camps. Casualties unknown. Actor 1 was coded based on the VOA report.
