On 29 January 2023, Israeli aircrafts conducted strikes targeting a convoy of six pro-Iran militia trucks coming from Iraq, killing seven and injuring an undetermined number of individuals in Al-Heri village in Deir ez Zor countryside. On 30/01/2023, a pro-Iran militia commander and two others succumbed to the wounds they sustained during the targeting. 10 fatalities.
