On 30 January 2023, between Kauk Yoe Pon and Mway Pon Kan villages (coded as Kauk Yoe Pon) (Madaya township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the King Viper carried out mine attacks against a Myanmar military column of around 120 soldiers, which was advancing towards Madaya town, with three mines at around 11 am. Five military soldiers were killed.
