On 1 February 2023, in Monywa town of Monywa township (Monywa district, Sagaing region), members of PDF carried out a grenade attack against a traffic police station located at the intersection of Pyidaungsu Road and Kyauk Kar Road at around 1 pm. The grenade explosion damaged the roof of traffic police station.
