On 2 February 2023, between Thone Se Pay and Kone Tan villages of Madaya township (Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), joint forces of Pyinoolwin District PaKaPha, Kaung Kin Revolution Force - Madaya (PaKaPha) carried out an attack using three cluster mines against the Myanmar military troops at around 11:15 am. Three military soldiers were killed in the attack.
