On 2 February 2023, near Po Wa (South) village of Madaya township (Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Ayeyarwady Brothers Revolution Force - Madaya (ABRF-Madaya) carried out drone strikes three times against two Myanmar military vehicles coming from Madaya town at around 12:30 pm. The drone strikes killed seven military soldiers and several others were injured.
