On 2 February 2023, in Taw Wi Ywar Thit village of Nyaunglebin township (Bago district, Bago-East region), the People's Defense Force - Nyaunglebin (PaKaPha) fired M79 rounds at the Myanmar military troops and Pyu Saw Htee stationed at Taw Wi train station. The attack was carried out at 6:50 pm as part Nan Htaik Aung Operation under NUG and the group retreated after firing. Casualties unknown.
