On 3 February 2023, between Than Ma Taw and Pyaw Hpwe villages (coded as Than Ma Taw) (Salingyi township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), the Kill on Sight Guerrilla Group attacked the military soldiers advancing to the Salingyi town with three mines near a football field at around 11 am, killing 7 and injuring at least 10 military soldiers.
