One of the inhabitants of the Tuchola poviat (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship) came across an artillery shell from the Second World War while walking. Sappers took care of the dangerous find. The police remind you not to move unexploded ordnance on your own, but to notify the services as soon as possible. The incident took place on Monday in Zdroje, in the Tuchola district (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship). One of the residents came across the find during a morning walk, who informed the police about it. "Before 9 a.m., the duty officer of the Tuchola police station received a report about finding an unexploded ordnance in a forest area near the town of Zdroje" - reported junior aspirant _ukasz Tomaszewski, press officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Tuchola. It's a World War II missile As it turned out, it was an artillery shell from World War II. "Officers secured the site against access by other people. A sapper patrol from Che_mno arrived at the site and dealt with the unexploded ordnance" - said the policeman. He added: - Policemen pay attention and remind you not to try to move such finds yourself, but to notify the appropriate services as soon as possible.
