Assam Rifles in a joint operation with the Police arrested two militants of Yung Aung faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K-YA) along with arms and ammunition from Old Longchong village in Rima Putak Circle in Changlang District of Arunachal Pradesh on January 28, reports The Arunachal Times. The arrested operatives were identified as Nayan Kumar Chakma and Gangwang Wanglee. The Police also recovered one Chinese made 7.62 mm rifle, an AK magazine, a safety fuse, a radio set and a mobile phone from the militants.
