The Churachandpur Police arrested three Hmar Peopleصs Convention-Democracy (HPC-D) militants, who were involved in extortion of money from vehicles plying on the Churachandpur-Sugnu Road, from Muolvaiphei village in Churachandpur District of Manipur on January 28, reports The Sangai Express. The arrestees were identified as Lalramhlun Lungtau alias Daa alias Rama, Vanlalthang alias VL and Lalthralhun Joute alias Lalthra. One Airsoft gun (M4A1) with one magazine (without live rounds), one Smith and Wesson M & P 40.177 (4.5 mm caliber) BB Gun Air Pistol with one magazine (without live round) and one holster were seized from the possession of Lalramhlun Lungtau.
