The Bihar Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) during a joint operation recovered a huge cache of weapons, including around 3600 rounds of ammunition, allegedly belonging to the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) from different places in the hilly and forested areas of Madanpur in Aurangabad District of Bihar on January 23, reports The Telegraph. A CRPF statement said, زThe troops consisting of multiple teams conducted a search in the targeted area and discovered a cache of arms and ammunition hidden at multiple locationsس. The seizures included 3583 bullets of various calibres, four Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), an under-barrel grenade launcher, two wireless sets and an interceptor, six detonators, two dozen pressure triggers used in IEDs, and fuse wire. Several mobile phones, Maoist literature and many other articles were also a part of the recovered cache.
