On 22 January 2023, unidentified armed men hurled a grenade towards the LBCI news outlet building in Adma (Keserwan), causing material damage. There were no casualties. The grenade was likely thrown over a show hosted by the channel in which comedians make jokes mocking the Shiite sect. Several vehicles had broken windshields and shrapnel hit walls.
