On 23 February 2020, anti-Houthi National Resistance and Saudi-led coalition forces reportedly fired 35 artillery shells at scattered areas of Hays district in western Yemen (Hays, Al Hudaydah) including 9 shells east of the district. No fatalities nor injuries were reported but a house was allegedly destroyed in Al-Hait village.
