On January 15, two armed individuals (names not stated) entered the house of apanch (member of Panchayat, village level local-self Government institution), identified as Abdul Qayoom, in Narla Bambal village, Rajouri District, Jammu and Kashmir, India and demanded food and water from the family, reports Tribune India. Furthermore, they gave the family INR 1,500 and threatened to cause trouble if they told the Security Forces about them. The armed individuals also informed "they were mujahids and would reach far away in sometime".
