On 19 January 2023, near Saing Du village (Gangaw township, Gangaw district, Magway region), after the retreat of the military forces from a camp of the NUG PDF Battalion 704 Unit 2 that they raided on 18 January, the PDF members entered the camp to clear the area and one of them stepped on a mine planted by military forces and was injured in his leg.
