On 16 January 2023, in the south of the Na Gyat area of Yedashe township (Taungoo district, Bago-East region), the Yedashe PDF (B-3501, Unit-4, Group-2) attacked about 100 military soldiers advancing to the area with mines, killing at least 2 and injuring at least 6 military soldiers.
