On 18 January 2023, in Jamundi (Valle del Cauca), unidentified individuals threw a grenade inside a car parked at a shopping mall. The grenade detonated, injuring at least two civilians. A second grenade was left by the perpetrators in the area, but it was safely removed by security forces. There is presence of armed groups in the area. There were no fatalities.
