On 28 December 2022, Russian forces launched an air strike at Kharkiv with 13 Shahed-136 drones, 11 of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defence. On that day, the Russian forces also attacked the city with 2 C-300 rockets, that hit Slobidsky district and damaged a critical infrastructure object. 1 civilian was injured.
