A constable was killed when unidentified assailants opened fire at him in Jarra locality under Omarzai Police Station in Charsadda District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on December 31, reports Dawn. Officials said Frontier Reserve Police (FRP) constable Muzammil Shah was travelling on a motorcycle in Jarra locality of Omarzai when some attackers travelling in a car opened fire at him, killing him instantly. The officials said the deceased constable was the gunner of FRP deputy commandant, Jehanzeb Khan.
