The Lunglei Battalion of the Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with the Bungtalang Police recovered war-like stores of explosives from Kakichhua Village near the Koladyne River in Lawngtlai District of Mizoram on December 27, reports The Print. Items such as 48 gelatin sticks, 73 detonators and 5meters Cordex were recovered although no individuals were arrested in the operation.
