On December 28, a Taliban fighter was killed and another one was injured by unidentified armed men in Murad Khaja bridge area of Kohistan District in Kapisa Province, reports Hasht-e Subh. The Taliban, however, denied that the victim was associated with it (Taliban), saying that the person killed had affiliation with the National Resistance Front. According to the Taliban, one NRF fighter was arrested by the Taliban.
